Lakers photos: Crypto.com Arena signage replaces Staples Center


The Los Angeles Lakers are now officially playing in Crypto.com Arena.

After the Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange company bought the naming rights for the arena for reportedly $700 million over 20 years in mid-November, the name change kicked in on Dec. 25.

The Lakers hosted the Brooklyn Nets in the first official NBA game under the new name after losing in a blowout to the San Antonio Spurs to end the Staples Center era.

Before the name change became official, Staples Center signage around the arena started to get removed, and now signage for Crypto.com decorates the exterior and interior of the building.
